Affinis gives back to the community through reStart

“Even during a tough year we feel very blessed at Affinis and this is one way we can give back as a company,” says Cliff Speegle, Affinis’ liaison with reStart. Earlier this year Affinis looked around to see what the company could do to help during these tough economic times and decided that involvement with reStart offered multiple opportunities for each employee to make a difference.

Beginning with a highly successful food drive in the spring, Affinis’ employees also chose to help the children at reStart by supplying back-to-school necessities this fall and toys this holiday season. “Our partnership with reStart is important to each of us,” Cliff adds. “Through our work we get to help our community everyday by building local infrastructure. reStart gives us another way to help improve lives and build a better tomorrow.” reStart is an inter-faith ministry that serves homeless persons through a wide array of services, including the provision of transitional shelter for approximately 6,000 men, women, and families annually.
