reStart Inc.

reStart Inc. is an interfaith ministry with homeless persons located on 9th and Harrison in downtown Kansas City Missouri.  reStart does amazing work! They offer shelter and support services for homeless men, women, youth and families and also offer programs to help transition folks toward independence and self sufficiency. They’re an amazing group with amazing need – Affinis has stepped up to the plate to help out! After all, their in-it-for-the-long-haul approach fits into our mission of building long-lasting relationships.

We started our relationship with reStart in 2006 when we donated a portion of our profits to their capital campaign. When we heard they needed work done at their new space, we thought, “Yes we can!” and helped out by painting the new family quarters at the shelter. Who knew we’d have so much fun? We got a lot accomplished during our first work day there – and it won’t be our last. Our entire staff was energized by offering a helping hand that day.
