Affinis & Holmes Murphy Team Up to Help reStart

Affinis and Holmes Murphy & Associates - our benefits consulting partner - teamed up for a half-day to paint family apartments at reStart. Here's how we spent our day.

Affinis & Holmes Murphy Help
reStart Kids with Back 2 School Drive

Ahead of the new school year, Affinis started a campaign to gather school supplies for reStart. We were thrilled when Holmes Murphy & Associates gave us an extraordinarily generous gift card to Wal-mart! Affinis co-workers also dug deep for the kids at reStart and we came up with a conference room table covered with goodies.

 

We collected:

• 250 pairs of socks - a vital need for reStart kids
• 243 pairs of underwear - a vital need for reStart kids
• 40 plastic school supply boxes
• 12 boxes of tissue
• Wet ones galore
• 58 boxes of crayons
• 50 bottles of hand sanitizer
• Hundreds of pencils
• 40 notebooks and filler paper
• 20 pairs of scissors
• 120 erasers
• 5 compass/ protractor sets
• 11 sets of colored pencils
• 45 rulers
• 30 highlighters
• 10 glue sticks
• 8 calculators
• And more!

 

Socks, underwear, crayons - you name it - we gathered a bounty of school supplies for reStart this year.
