Langsford Road to Legacy Park Entrance

Client: City of Lee's Summit, Missouri

This 0.75-mile thoroughfare improvement project will widen the existing two-lane, open ditch road to three lanes. Access management and traffic control are critical items. In addition, intersection traffic control methods, including a traffic signal and a roundabout was considered at the Blackwell Road/ Langsford Road intersection. Alternative intersections at Blackwell Road/ Chipman Road were also evaluated to choose between a stop-controlled and roundabout intersection.
