Metcalf Avenue Improvements

99th Street to 103rd Street

Client: City of Overland Park, Kansas

This project will widen this section of Metcalf Avenue from four lanes to six lanes, adding capacity by matching the six-lane sections already in place both north and south of the project.  A large portion of the project will improve storm drainage.  Our design includes replacing two bridges over Indian Creek, adding inlets and pipes along the roadway, extending the existing 25-foot by 16-foot RCB, installing a 36-foot by 10-foot Conspan on a side street and bank stabilization.
