New Longview Streetscape

The master plan for this development calls for the restoration of historic Longview Farms as well as development of the surrounding 260 acres. Funding for the development will come from revenue generated by a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district, a Transportation Development District (TDD), the developer, and the City.

Affinis is responsible for the design of the major thoroughfare network through the development. The design includes 0.75 mile of Parisian-style boulevard and 0.75 mile of collector roadway. Three 2-lane roundabouts will be constructed at major intersections to handle traffic flow and provide aesthetic enhancement for the development. Using on-street parking on the collectors and narrower driving lanes on the boulevard and the collectors also enhances the aesthetic quality of the development.
