135th Street Improvements

Switzer Road to Antioch Road
Metcalf Avenue to Nall Avenue

Client: City of Overland Park, Kansas

This project will widen these two sections of 135th Street from four lanes to six lanes, adding capacity to this major arterial in Overland Park. The project includes signal modifications at Switzer Road, Lamar Avenue and Nall Avenue. In addition, a new median break and signal will be constructed at Glenwood Avenue to serve a new regional mall scheduled to open in 2007. The project also includes street lighting, and storm sewer modification.
